It's that time of year that my family will be racing in place for New Hope Peru Children's home. Consider joining us for a Race in Place anytime in the month of September (it's New Hope's anniversary month!) or join us on to help raise funds for New Hope's newly approved foster care families!

With Arequipa's first-ever foster families soon being trained and equipped to care for vulnerable children in their homes, you can help us to come alongside them in many ways. Funds from the Race in Place will be used to recruit foster families through local churches, provide training and support for our first foster families, and help to make small home improvements for foster families to be prepared to welcome a child into their home. You will be supporting Arequipa's first foster families by participating in our 2022 Race in Place!
What is a Race in Place? It is a race that you can run (or walk!) at the time and location of your choosing in the month of September. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, the trail, the treadmill or even the track at the gym! You get to do your own race at your own pace - it's your Race in Place to help support New Hope's work with foster families! If you’d like to build a team (large or small!) to join you, sign up as a Fundraiser on the site so that others can register under your name.

Print your Race in Place poster to print out and take a selfie with on race day. Share your picture on social media using #raceinplaceNHP and tagging us @newhopeperu
Have fun and know that you are making a real difference by supporting the movement to provide family-based care for vulnerable children in Peru!
